Your wheel stays in your browser

Wheel and Names stores wheel entries, team lists and assignments, settings, recent results and theme preferences in your browser’s localStorage. Clearing site data removes them. There is no Wheel and Names cloud account or cross-device synchronization in this version.

Import, export and sharing

Imported files are read locally by your browser and are not uploaded by the application. Export creates a file on your device. A share link includes entry labels, weights and settings in a URL fragment. Anyone receiving the complete link can decode that data. Do not put sensitive information in a wheel you plan to share.

External services

On the published site, Vercel Web Analytics measures page visits. We remove URL query parameters and fragments from analytics events and do not send wheel entries, results or uploaded images as custom events. Analytics is disabled on localhost. Google Fonts serves the interface fonts, and the hosting provider processes requests and may keep operational logs.

Removing your data

Delete unwanted wheels using the wheel toolbar, clear result history, or clear this site’s storage in browser settings. Export any lists you want to keep first.
